Однажды, в далекой-далекой галактике, на онлайн-аукционе eBay была выставлена на продажу картофелина, напоминающая своими формами Джаббу Хатта — персонажа киносаги Джорджа Лукаса «Звездные войны». Начальная цена лота — всего один доллар, торги заканчиваются 14 декабря, на момент написания этой заметки ни одной ставки сделано не было.
Как говорится в описании лота, картофелина станет отличным подарком для «поклонника „Звездных войн“, у которого уже все есть». Овощ был обработан специальным раствором, который должен защитить его от гниения, однако нынешний владелец «Джаббы Картофелины» не уверен, что химикаты будут действовать долго.
К слову, известный американский кинокритик Роджер Эберт описал внешний вид Джаббы Хатта как «Диккенсианский», нечто среднее между жабой и Чеширским котом.
