Власти Нигерии раздадут фермерам 10 миллионов бесплатных «мобильников» Чудной труд
По словам министра сельского хозяйства и природных ресурсов Нигерии Акинвуми Айо Адесина, власти страны раздадут местным фермерам 10 миллионов бесплатных телефонов в попытке модернизировать сельскохозяйственную отрасль Нигерии.
Как считает министр, мобильные телефоны произведут настоящую «информационную революцию» в среде фермеров, что, в свою очередь, приведет к революции в области сельского хозяйства. Половину телефонов, к слову, получат женщины.
На покупку мобильных телефонов, которые позволят фермерам держать руку на пульсе последних известий с международных рынков и поддерживать связь с дистрибьюторами и супермаркетами, будет потрачено 60 миллиардов нигерийских найр (порядка 382 миллионов долларов США), пишет International Business Times.
Однако члены оппозиции уверены, что эта мера предназначена в первую очередь для привлечения голосов избирателей на выборах, которые пройдут в 2015 году.
